If you know me you know I love Christmas. Also if you've been around me for the last month you know I have various advent calendars. I absolutely adore advent calendars and I have a few that are traditions.
I usually get a nicer chocolate one for December. This year both Angela and I got Kinder ones.
I buy myself a David's Tea one every year because I absolutely love tea and having a different kind every day just brings me so much joy.
Every year my Mother in Law gets me a L'occitaine one. Years ago, the first one she ever got me was the first time I had used L'occitaine products, and I've been hooked ever since.
I thought I was going to have three advent calendars, but then Angela surprised me by making me one. It's so funny because I was going to make her one but I just ran out of time and money (I will make one next year, I swear) but apparently we had the same idea. I did get her an art supply advent calendar though. Which is the cover photo.
We're going to my parents house for Christmas this year so we decided to start the calendars two days early so we could finish them before we left early on the 23rd.

Day 1:

The first day was Cranberry Gingerale tea, which was actually quite nice. I'm not huge on ginger tea but this one is more cranberry than anything. From L'occitaine there was a bath fizz, which I can't wait to use. From Angela was adorable penguin socks (that she's actually stolen from me to wear on Christmas), owl earrings with little Santa hats, and Grinch Hershey kisses.
Day 2:

Day 2 was Sweet Potato Pie tea, which sounds weird but was surprisingly delicious and Vervine body milk. From Angela: fuzzy socks, little gay heart earrings, and Hot Chocolate Hershey kisses. I had never had the Christmas flavours of Hershey kisses before (other than Candy Cane) and the hot chocolate ones were a big hit.
Day 3:

Day 3 was Headache Halo tea. Funny enough I did have a headache that day and it was pretty soothing. It has both mint and lavender in it. I got got cherry blossom shower gel, which I've been using ever since. From Angela: ornament earrings and Candy Cane Hershey kisses (which are my personal favourite).
Day 4:

Day 4 was Hot Chocolate tea, which I didn't realize was highly caffeinated and I drank it before bed, so that was fun. From L'occitaine there was a verbena soap shaped like a little leaf. From Angela there was rainbow earrings (can't wait to wear these at Pride) and Skor bars.
Day 5:

Day 5 was Strawberry Parfait tea and a night serum. So I was having a rough day so Angela told me to open day 6 instead of 5 and I understood why when I opened it. From Angela was a bisexual frog pin, a magnet of the rats we had, and Sugar Cookie Hershey Kisses.
Day 6:

Day 6 was Candy Cane Crush, which is one of my favourite teas from David’s Tea. Also an Osmanthus hand cream, which was exciting because I’ve never gotten one in a L’occitaine advent calendar before. From Angela, I finally got to open day 5, and it was gay socks, gingerbread man earrings, and mini Lindt balls.
Day 7:

Day 7 was a really lovely Orange Spice tea and a almond body milk. Almond is one of my favourite scents from L’occitaine. From Angela I got penguin earrings (that my friend Sam threatened to steal off my body when I wore them in front of her) and mini Skor bars.
Day 8:

Day 8 was Mother’s Little Helper tea, which I made the mistake of drinking during my work day and it made me a little sleepy. Also got verbena shower gel. From Angela I got an Angelica magnet (and had been informed rather magnets would now be every second day), gay circle earrings, and Hot Chocolate Hershey Kisses.
Day 9:

Day 9 was Salted Caramel Oolong and noble epine shower cream (which was another new one). From Angela: fuzzy socks, present earrings, and Candy Cane Hershey Kisses.
Day 10:

Day 10 was Forever Frosty (which is apparently known the rest of the year as Forever Nuts) and comfort face cream. I love all the little face creams in the L’occitaine calendar because I use them for travel. From Angela it was a rat magnet and Grinch Hershey Kisses.
Day 11:

Day 11 was Guangzhou Milk Oolong. From L’occitaine I got a Barbotine soap, which I’m obsessed with the smell of. From Angela: gay socks, hot chocolate earrings, and Lindt balls.
Day 12:

We’re halfway through the advent calendar! It was Glitter & Gold tea and an Immortelle Divine cream. From Angela I got an Eliza magnet and Sugar Cookie Hershey Kisses.
Day 13:

Day 13 was Calming Chamomile tea and hand cream. From Angela I got gay socks, snowman earrings, and Skor bars.
Day 14:

Day 14 was Jelly Donut tea and shampoo. I have so many bottles of this shampoo because I never remember to use it at home and I never take it with me travelling because I just use whatever is at wherever I’m going. I’m going to try to use them more. From Angela a Peggy and Eliza magnet, gay dangly earrings, and Candy Cane Hershey Kisses.
Day 15:

Day 15 was Christmas Morning Blend and a soap. We have so much soap in the house, I don’t know when we’re possibly going to use it all. From Angela was Santa earrings and Grinch Hershey Kisses.
Day 16:

Day 16 was Pomegrateful and a nail file. From Angela was gay socks, a magnet of rats and bread (we never let them have much at a time), and Hot Chocolate Hershey Kisses.
Day 17:

Day 17 was S’mores Chai, which unfortunately I didn’t get to drink the day I got it because I had a migraine. Also got verbena body lotion. From Angela, I got cat earrings with little Santa hats and Lindt balls.
Day 18:

Day 18 was Silent Night tea and Immortelle Precieuse cream. From Angela was a Peggy magnet (I can’t with that little paw), gay triangle earrings, and Sugar Cookie Hershey Kisses.
Day 19:

Day 19 was Sleigh Ride tea (honestly I think that may have been day 20 but I got a couple days behind on taking notes and getting Angela to take pictures and they got a little mixed up). I also got a solid almond shampoo, which I’m really excited to travel with. From Angela I got gay socks, candy cane earrings, and Skor bars.
Day 20:

Day 20 was Brown Sugar Bourbon tea and vervine shower gel. From Angela I got a Peggy and Eliza magnet, dangly gay heart earrings, and Candy Cane Hershey kisses.
Day 21:

Day 21 was Peanut Butter Brownie tea and almond hand lotion (I definitely own three of these because of how much I love them). From Angela I got Christmastree earrings and Grinch Hershey Kisses.
Day 22:

Day 22 was Tinsel Toddy (sadly, alcohol not included) and precious cream. From Angela I got gay socks, a magnet of the rats being weird (WTF girls!), and Hot Chocolate Hershey Kisses.
Day 23:

Day 23 was Santa’s Secret tea (my personal favourite) and conditioner. From Angela: snowflake earrings, and Sugar Cookie Hershey Kisses.
Day 24:

On the last day I got Sugar Pear Fairy tea and a bigger size of hand cream. From Angela I got a bisexual Santa frog pin, a Christmas rat magnet, and Lindt balls.
Thank you for coming along on this journey with me. I’m going to be eating chocolate for ages. Happy holidays!
