At last, it’s the final part of my series. These are the last two Vancouver libraries that I’m going to. I might explore libraries in other cities in the future, but for now, I’m going to be taking a break as we get into the busy holiday season. So, one last time, let’s review some libraries!

Champlain Heights Branch

It’s been ages since I went to a new library, and this was a really nice one to get back into it. The whole area is so cute.

Address: 7110 Kerr Street

Accessibility: It wasn’t too bad to get to. It was just a couple of stops on the train and then a bus.

Hours: The hours are: 9:30 am-6 pm on Mondays, 9:30 am-8 pm on Tuesdays, 9:30 am-6 pm on Wednesdays, 9:30 am-8 pm on Thursdays, 9:30 am-6 pm on Fridays, and 9:30 am-5 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Location and outdoors: It’s right behind Champlain Square, which means there are a lot of shops and food places, which is nice and convenient. There’s a lovely little outdoor area with a lot of benches. I wish it were warmer out so I could enjoy it more.

Space inside: It’s decently big, and there are a ton of tables and seating areas, and a few computers.

Meeting rooms: There’s a meeting room for community use.

Facilities: Bathrooms, a charging station, the usual printing, and a water bottle filling station.

Events: Lots of baby and family events.

West Point Grey Branch

It was a nice library, but it was so cold, which made it less pleasant.

Address: 4566 West 10th Avenue

Accessibility: Not hard to get to, as it was just the train and then a bus, but it did take over an hour.

Hours: The hours are: Closed on Mondays, 9:30 am-7 pm on Tuesdays, 9:30 am-6 pm on Wednesdays, 9:30 am-7 pm on Thursdays, 9:30 am-6 pm on Fridays, and 9:30 am-5 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Location and outdoors: It’s on a pretty nice stretch on West 10th. No real outdoor space, but there is one bench.

Space inside: A couple of tables, a kids' area, some chairs, and computers.

Meeting rooms: There is a meeting room for community purposes.

Facilities: Lots of individual bathroom stalls, a water bottle filling station, and the usual printing.

Events: Lots of family and kids’ events.

I can’t believe I got through every VPL Branch except the Carnegie Branch. It was a fun project, but I’m so happy to be done with it for now.
